The Islands of Adventure are part of the Universal Studios
resorts, and is one of the two theme parks available at
this location in Florida.
In much the same way that Disney
has divided its parks into themes, the Islands of Adventure,
of which there are five, each have a separate theme; rather
like Identical quads each have their own personality.
The
islands are: Toon Lagoon; Jurassic Park; The Lost Continent;
Seuss Landing; and Marvel Super Hero Island. As you may
imagine from these titles, the Islands of Adventure are
geared towards the younger visitors. |

While the main interest of the theme park is to entertain
the children, it also doesn’t hold back on thrills
and spills, like the Spiderman ride, which takes you through
the streets, then high up above the city, before landing
back down; it is truly amazing, and you’ll be left
wondering how they managed all the effects.

Other Islands
of Adventure treats includes the ‘Cat in the Hat’
ride from Seuss Landing – the attraction tries to
recreate the original ‘Cat’ story, including
the riotous anarchy and the fantastic laughs.
Children of
all ages will love this ride, as will any adult who has
read the book.
The Islands of Adventure experience is centred on the fact
that each island is minutely themed, so that if a child
who likes Dinosaurs goes to the Lost World island, he will
not find any of the other themes on that island. |
Because
each one is so meticulous, you may have to go again and
again, since one day is hardly enough to explore the delights
of one island, let alone five. It may take a lifetime to
properly understand how intensely these Islands have been
fashioned according to their theme.
Here at Tickets at Half Price you will find all of the
tickets you need to make your trip as fantastic as possible
and for the least amount of money.
