Visit one of the best natural theme parks,
and look at animals in their natural environments with Silver
Springs Florida.
This is a unique them park based around
the headwaters of the Silver river, one of the largest spring
formations in the world. Just north of Orlando, this theme
park is well worth taking a trip to visit.
Silver Springs Florida is justly famous for its glass bottomed
boats, which float through underground springs to enable
you to see fish, turtles, shelled animals and alligators
in the 80 feet deep waters, the silent stars of many movies
and TV shows. |

The water is also used by kayakers, though
obviously the waters are not suitable for swimming in, due
to the abundance of alligators; but there are great kayaking
experiences to be had.

Riding the water also allows you
to see the fabulous fauna and flora.
As well as water animals, Florida’s Silver Springs
has a number of reservations within the park for other animals,
including an exhibit based in the Western Cougar, a large
and graceful native cat, similar to the panther.
There is
also a large reserve, the ‘Kritter Korral’,
which houses a number of farm animals, such as sheep and
goats, which can be petted and fed.
This reserve is very
popular with the younger tourists, and the animals love
all the attention. |
Like most of the Florida theme parks, Silver Springs has
incorporated a lot of adventure rides into its grounds;
tourists can now enjoy water and gondola rides, and take
in a few of the very impressive shows. If you don’t
enjoy lighthouse rides, or if you just fancy a break from
the activities, you can visit the fabulous botanical gardens
and stroll around the flower beds at the edges of the river.
Here at Tickets at Half Price you will find all of the
tickets you need to make your trip as fantastic as possible
and for the least amount of money.
