After cavorting confined within the reels, Crafty Brer Rabbit,
Brer Fox and Brer Bear are jumping out of the silver screen
at last to the hallowed grounds of Magic Kingdom.
They turn
up quite the more tangible way in Disneyland’s rendition
of their “Splash Mountain”, the closest edifice
to the one in the beloved 1946 classic “Song of the
South.”
Even those irretrievably memorable songs such
as "How Do You Do," "Everybody's Got a Laughin'
Place" and "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah" are refreshed
for good measure. Buy Splash Mountain Tickets and
enjoy. |

Visitors will in fact eventually experience
the saccharine adventures of the lovable animals, as they
themselves will participate in the delightful goose chase
of Brer Rabbit’s exploits.
Intact too are the movie’s other
characters, who will entertain the passenger on an 11-minute
ride all through the mountain’s innards. Sharp-toothed
beavers especially “hollowed” the eight-passenger
log (four rows of two seats) vessel. The long queue goes
through the insides of Chickapin Hill until the berthing
place.

Next thing the guest knows, the vessel
is gliding along the 2,600 feet-long flume. The watercourse
will lead on through sprightly audio-animatronics and one
of the largest animated props around.
On and on the craft
will go before inevitably taking velocities of 40 mph and
plummet screaming guests down the 45 degree-tilted, five-story
high bayou rapids!
When those 52 feet of height are scaled,
the happy ending takes place at Brer Rabbit's house. The
rider even gets to have his or her photo captured of that
prior unguarded moment down the rapids, courtesy of Splashdown

We have a large collection for Splash
Mountain Tickets Online. In addition,
a viewing bridge is located proximate so guests can watch
or take photos of their friends and families take a plunge.
Outside of the mountain proper, Brer Rabbit
makes rare appearances at the Splash Mountain Courtyard
for photos and autographs. The daily Times Guide will announce
information on those instances.
Splash Mountain is situated in Frontierland's
west end, between Pecos Bill's restaurant and Big Thunder
Mountain Railroad. This is hailed as one of the most popular
rides in the Magic Kingdom. Disney’s FASTPASS is serviceable
here.
As a reminder, the passenger will get wet
on this ride. Do you love to be in Mountains - Buy
Splash
Mountain Tickets and be there.
A rain poncho will minimize exposure, if sitting in the
middle of the log won’t do. Pregnant women, those
with significant heart conditions, and back or neck problems
will not be allowed to ride. Riders measuring less than
40 inches may not ride too.
