Wet n’ Wild is the main water park in the Orlando
area (Water Mania is not in Orlando, it is in Kissimmee).
Wet n Wild Florida is also one of the most popular and exciting
water theme parks in the area, and is owned by the Universal
Studios Recreation Group.
This park can get very busy during
the summer time, but even then, there is still more than
enough events to keep everyone busy.

As with most theme parks these days, Wet n wild has a variety
of roller coasters, including ‘The Storm’, which
sends you spiralling down a water chute, and then into two
large open bowls at high speeds, until you drop through
a hole in the bottom of the splash pool.

‘Blue Niagra’,
this slide is two intertwined tubes that slide you to the
bottom, and had a splash landing at the bottom.
‘The
Bomb Bay’ and ‘Der Stuka’ are other slides
which are included in the whole Wet N’ Wild Florida
experience.
As well as using the many slides at ‘Wet n’
Wild’, there are lots of places where you can relax
and dry out.
You can go and eat in one of the sun drenched
picnic areas, play volleyball at the beach courts, or simple
go and sit beside the river, and watch the other sliders
hit the water. |
From the mid-summer to late August, there
is the ‘Summer Nights Program’, which means
that the park is open later than normal, and there is live
music, games, and competitions, all with a fantastic party
atmosphere. If you are looking for a great water-based adventure,
then Florida’s Wet N’ Wild is the place to go.
